The best way to do this is to look the company up with the Federal Highway Administrations Website.
There are 4 major things you will need to look for.
1. MC Number
2. Bonded.
3. Low quotes: There are many companies online that instant quote with low prices. (they never end up picking up your item) A lot of our business comes from people that hire a company that quoted lower than us yet never showed up to pick up their item. This happens because they are most likely strictly a broker and can't find a company to move your item. We have our own trucks as well as contracted transporters.
