I was enormously nervous at first using a transport company to move my 5th wheel toy hauler across the country.  I purchased it on ebay all the way in California and I live in North Carolina.  I had 3 options to get this trailer.  One was to fly there , rent a truck and pull it back to North Carolina myself. This option was not an exciting task.  No rental company had or would rent a truck.  That option was out.  My next option was to drive out there myself with my personal owned truck .
 I did the math and that was a lot of miles and a lot of time/loss of work.  My last option was to find a transport company that has the equipment to move this type of unit.  I remembered years ago having my car shipping with a company called Showroom Transport.
 I gave them a call.  I spoke with Ty. He remembered who I was.  I asked him if he knew anyone that does that type of work.  Ty said his company does that.  Ty gave me a very fair price.  Within one week my trailer showed up. Impressed the same as I was when Showroom Transport shipped my car.

The truck that came to pick up my automobile look liked something something you would see transport a nascar racer such as dale earnhart. I was very impressed and felt very secure that my car would be in safe hands. When the driver loaded my car onto the truck I watched. He took his time to load it safely.

This is not the first vehicle I shipped enclosed yet this is the first time I hired a Showroom Transport truck to do my shipping. The price was not the lowest yet not highest either.

A friend informed me about this company on how he had a good experience so I gave Showroom Transport a shot and it was well worth it.

2 cars, 1 boat and an a tractor shipped from Alabama to Maine.   The people at showroom transport did a marvelous job handling each transportation.   They used a huge car carrier to move my cars.  My tractor would not fit on a car carrier so they used a flatbed trailer for that and they wound up towing my boat with a one ton pickup.  All of this only cost 5500.00.  I priced around many places and some quoted me over 10k.  Everything showed up on time.  Except for the boat, the driver was there before I got there.  He waited for me a day.  Ryan is a great guy.  In fact , all of the drivers that moved my stuff was courteous and professional.  I give Showroom Transport a big thumbs up!

I have hauled heavy equipment before, and I know the immeasureable expense it takes to fuel any kind of vehicle legally and properly equipped to haul extreme heavy weight, over a sustained road distance. I had unexpectedly won the bid of a of a 10,000 lb., 14 year old trailer on e-bay, and I only had a few days to find a way to have it picked up from the site out of state (over 600 miles away). My personal truck was not nearly equipped to handle the load rating, nor did I have any easy access to install the necessary equipment for hauling it, in addition I wouldn't have been able to have obtained the proper trailer registration for the trip back home, so as not to invite police inspections.

All of that being said, I estimate it would have cost me in upwards of $4000.00 to make the trip up and back to pick up my trailer (which only cost $2,200; I hated pay so much more than what the trailer was worth), not to mention the cost of the trailer being way over the weight of my truck tow capacity, and the horrible time and stress and expense of my truck being irreparably damaged, left to be stranded on the side of the road from hauling such weight, and not knowing if my trailer would ever make it home. I also was afraid of the inherent physical dangers of hauling the trailer on highways for such a great distance. It was a nightmare to say the least!

I searched on-line for companies which haul various trailers and equipment, and I first came across companies in which the customer "bids" on the lowest prices for individuals to haul their frieght ... I immediately knew to stay away from those companies, who boasted such fair, low prices ... I know enough about traveling and fuel consumption to know that most of the prices on the bidding sites which seemed to be too good to be true, were in fact way too good to be true. I know in life you pay for what you get, and to "bid" on a price to pay for fuel, time, compensation for the person driving, vehicle maintenance, dispatch, logsitics of moving a vehicle, driver and vehicle insurance, driver accountability, company accountability, proper assessment of towed vehicle road roeadiness, and ability of the driver to know how to remedy those problems with greatest value and expediancy of the delivery fo rthe customer, ... was just a plane joke adn a little bit of a slap in the face, and it made me panic even more. I had seen the site for Showroom Transport briefly, but quickly discounted them because of the term " Show Room" to me implied that people such as myself, who certainly had no showroom quality trailer which I needed transported ASAP, would never be able to afford their trailer prices, as well, I figured with only a few days to spare before the trailer was supposed to be moved from it's original site, no hauling company would have nearly enough time to be able to get a driver with the proper tow vehicle to pick the unit up in enough time.

Extremely desperate and exhausted from panic and fear of not thinking there was a way to get my trailer down to me, I called Show Room Transport at 2am on a Sunday Morning, all the while believing I would be leaving a message on a voicemail.

Instead, Ty Leckner answered with great courtesy and friendliness, and great re-assurance that I had called the right place. Ty assured me that he could get a driver for my trailer with in a few days ... A FEW DAYS ... to pick up my trailer up in Connecticut ( live 600 miles away in Virginia), and gave me an up front, fast quote of bill, which included pay for the driver, tolls, fuel, transport certificate and plate for the legal transport of the trailer, and one way service from Ct. to Va. (many companies charge you more to compensate for teh trip to and from the travel destination). He quickly gave me an up front quote of $1050.00, which included also the fact that at least one of the trailer lights was . not working (come to find out, when the driver got there, neight trailer rear lights were working). I was amazed at the quote cost ... my trip fuel in one direction would have cost more than $1050!!! That doesn't include the cost of food, as well as physical wear on me for such a trip, and time away from school and my job. It would have cost again, upwards of $4,000 for me to have made a trip both up and back, and that estimnate does not include the expense of a vehicle repair b/c of grossly being under-equipped to handle that kind of towing over such a distance.

I soon recieved my bill via e-mail, which I paid with paypal, although Ty was very much willing to work with me on various modes of paying the bill. I just can't thank Ty Leckner and Show Room Transport for the safe delivery of my vehicle. Steve, the driver who picked up and deliverd my vehicle was fabulous. Steve contacted me before picking up the trailer, and then we spoke on the phone at various modes of his traveling here to deliver my trailer. I was even more re-assured after talking with Steve on the phone, that my trailer was indeed, in good hands.

Show Room Transport and Ty Leckner and Steve were all so very professional, very reliable and exceptional at dealing with adversities that come with hauling Equipment just won on ebay, out of state, and which also had some towing problems (the rear lights did not work, and so Steve bought a light kit to install, as well he greased the axles himslef since the trailer had been sitting for so many years along with a thorough pre-trip inspection, and also the place which the trailer was located was out of season, and Steve had to do some time consuming sleuthing to find out where my trailer was, and how to get it). In additon to the aformentioned amazing qualities, my trailer could be shipped with in a few days of my initial phone contact with Ty, and with much lower cost to me had I hired another towing company, or had I shipped it myself.

I can not thank Show Room Transport enough for getting my new home down to me with such professionalism, expediancy, customer service, reliability, great assurance, and most of all, the incredible low cost of all of this being provided me. I am a customer for life, and whenever I want to relocate my trailer, I will call on Show Room Transort and Ty Leckner for them to manage the safe shipment of my trailer, as well as any other vehicle I might need relocated in the future. From the very first phone call made to Showroom Transport to the delivery of our 5th wheel we were very impressed with the service we received with every aspect.

I initially called Showroom Transport on a Thursday and spoke with Ty who immediately gave me a quote of 2300$ to have our 5th wheel picked up in California on Monday and delivered to the North Dakota/Manitoba border on the following Thursday where we would meet the driver. On Friday I called Ty back to inform him that the paper work was not ready so we needed the driver to hold off until we had confirmation from the pick-up location that everything was in order. Monday I called Ty and said that the unit would be ready for pick-up the following day. Brent, the driver contacted us and let us know that he would be picking-up our trailer on Tuesday after lunch and would be in contact with us throughout his transport. We had arranged to meet on Friday at 1400hrs in Pembina North Dakota. Brent called us every evening to let us know where he was and that the trailer was pulling nicely and so on. We met Brent on time and signed off that everything was just as we expected. I would definitely use and recommend Showroom Transport to have something delivered. We were extremely happy with the wonderful service and professionalism that we received.

I can't explain the aggravation I went through dealing with two other transport companies. I had never had a car shipped before. The first company I hired had several really nice sounding girls telling me my car should be picked up shortly. The shortly turned into over 10 days and we raised the price three times as I was told there was no reason it wasn't being picked up by a driver and maybe the price should be raised to entice a driver. The car needed to be delivered for my college bound daughter who was left with no transportation for a week. I had planned to be there for the delivery and the airline ticket couldn't be changed so I arrived and left without the car arriving. I then told that company that I needed to contact someone else. I then contacted another transport company who promised a quick door-to-door delivery. A got a call saying my car was to be picked up and stay in an wrecking yard until a driver was found to get it delivered. The car when picked up would be delivered 30-60 miles away from the delivery point to another wrecking yard rather then to the agreed delivery point via the door-to-door service. I called up the company to tell them that was not the deal and was told i "was a jerk" and hung up on saying there was nothing he could do as he didn't even know who was picking up the car. Needless to say - I was really aggravated now and the car hadn't moved one inch. Now the GOOD NEWS. I called several places and didn't have any clue who to trust to get the car delivered. Fortunately, one of the companies I called was Showroom and I talked with Ty. It is difficult to know whether to trust the "front man or woman" and I had doubts if he was being straight with me after my other experiences. HE WAS STRAIGHT. The car was picked up in less then a week and delivered in less then a week. The car was in excellent condition. The driver was a good guy. The price was the price quoted and there was no increase. In fact, the price turned out to be less then the first company after the third raise in price. If you don't regularly ship vehicles and are new to the experience - GO TO SHOWROOM and save the aggravation as well as the time and money in trying these other places. After the car was delivered, I called Ty to say thanks for being a man of his word. I told him that I would recommend him to anyone and hoped I could save someone from what i went through. I am also a man of my word and I do recommend Ty and Showroom. This man was honest with me and got the job done. Thanks Ty.

considering that i bought a trike on ebay with 4 pics & how nervous i was,showroom transport was a pleasure to work with,sellers(texas) & receivers(ga.) couldn't have been happier with the driver & service & the driver seemed happy with them !! the receiving end was a former trucker that hauled bikes to sturgis for years & he was very impressed with the driver & the way the trike was hauled & with the hauler(i think tommy,but i can't find the receipt now that i need it) who was great about the contacting & arranging of drop off(a day early even)..the price was excellant in fact i couldn't have done it better &/ or much cheaper..i will recommend Showroom transport to everyone & they will be who i will always use ! thanks Showroom !!!

My 19 yo son on his way to his first duty station broke down in PA. We call this company, they were great. I told them my problem, what I needed to have happen and received a call from the driver within 48 hours. The driver, James, was great. My son had to park his car at the PA airport (as he had to get a rental to continue his drive). James went to the airport, found my sons car, and delivered my sons car to KS (a day early). He was in contact with me the entire time, letting me know where he was and that he had my son's car. I had called other transport companies and they all refused to go to the airport parking lot to find a car. My son's car was delivered a day early with no problems at all. The price was reasonable. I had called around to numerous places and it was right with every other company. Plus this company you spoke to a live person and not a machine. It has been a week now and I am still getting calls from other companys just now returning my call. I would recommend this company to anyone and I would use them again in a heartbeat.

I contacted a search engine that provided me with email companies for delivery of my recently purchased camper from Tenn to VA. One company could not do it for 5-7 days, another was extremely overpriced and the last one was Showroom transport.

I called Showroom transport at 1130pm on a Sunday, received a good quote and good customer service. Later that week, I called to confirm delivery, a man named Ty typed the contract, was very knowledgeable and polite, assured me that the camper would be picked up and delivered no later than Saturday, Memorial weekend. Ty called back, stated he lined up a driver, that the camper would be picked up in a day or two and be in VA for the weekend.

Ray the driver was very good at communicating. He always answered his phone, spoke the truth and deliverd my camper early, Friday evening. This worked out great since I wanted to set it up and surprise my girlfriend and her 2 girls. I bought the camper on e-bay and set up delivery on ebay, everything worked out nice!!

Showroom Transport provided me with something that has gone by the wayside, CUSTOMER SERVICE. I felt human and not ripped off, and now, literally, I am a happy camper!!!

I have only one statement to say -> Simply the best service I have ever had. I was able to call my sales person at midnight and ask him questions about my delivery status. I have never had this type of service before. I spoke with Victor at 9:00 am and then at midnight the same day. Do these guys at Showroom Transport ever take any time off! My travel trailer was towed by Tom. Tom was one of the nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

Ty was excellent to work with and he was always available to talk to. He explained how this move of our boat would be transferred and who our driver would be. He was very pleasant on the phone.

My first successful delivery ! Showroom Transport is very customer oriented. They hauled my motorhome across the country for me on some kind of low boy trailer. It saved me a lot of time and hassle. I could of went and picked it up myself and drove it back yet, that would have been one heck of a long trip. I purchased the motorhome on ebay. Who knows if it would of made the trip? Showroom Transport delivered it safely and timely. Anyone reading this should call these guys at Showroom Transport. These guys are extremely friendly and know their stuff!

Dear Showroom Transport,

I would like to thank you for the excellent service my husband and I received in getting our dream trailer to it's new location.  As first time users of a service of this type we were unsure of what to expect.  We started this venture speaking with both Vic and Phil who answered our many questions.  We were able to make an informed choice about booking our trailer to be transported from NY to KY while ourself being in FL.  Phil made the booking of the transport easy and answered any and all concerns we had about the process.  We were able to schedule a pickup within 2 - 3 days of booking the service but what a pleasant surprise to find out the driver was able pick up the trailer even earlier.  The driver scheduled for our transport, Mr. Mills, was polite, well informed and handled our trailer with care.  Both the originating and drop off parties were just as pleased on how Mr. Mills handled the pick up and delivery. 

Would I use this company again?  Yes, by all means but hopefully not to soon as we plan to have this trailer for some time into the future.  Though when the time does come again to purchase a new trailer we plan to be only a quick phone call away from Showroom Transport.

Robert Dochnahl was there on time and was kind enough to check all the equipment for me to make sure everything worked and asked the seller all the right questions that I did not think to ask. He didn't mind going the extra miles to test the equipment on the trailer on a generator beore purchase of the Southern Yankee. He was a very careful and professional driver to make sure everything was delivered in perfect condition and delivered the same day of pickup.
The order number was 36965. The price of $595.00 was an excellent price for the job and time spent.
If we ever need any other equipment moved we will always use this company. If anyone ever asks about a good mover I will always refer them to Showroom Transport.

I am in the US Navy. I was transfered to Ca. I needed my car picked up right away. I called Showroom Transport about 1:00 am and spoke with Ty. I was amazed they were open. I told him I needed my car picked up immediately. Ty put me on hold and called his driver which was dropping off in VA Beach the next morning. He then told me he would send his driver to me in the morning. I was very happy when the driver was sitting right outside the base in Norfolk waiting for me at 8:00 a.m. I flew out later that afternoon. My car arrived in Ca. within a week. They did what they said they were going to do. The delivery saved me a lot of money. I was going to pick it up myself. I found it much cheaper to have my boat delivered by a proffessional company then do it myself. I did meet them across the border in Sweetgrass, MT. Ty was great. He kept in communication with me. I was also able to keep in touch with the driver Mike. Mike called me multiple times throughout his trip to let me know where he was in order for me to meet him at the border. I had two antique tractors, a 1953 International T6 Bulldozer and a 1956 Allis Chalmers HD5 tracked loader relocated from Marland to Virginia.
I am extremely happy with the service I received. The driver was courteous and conducted himself in a very professional manner. He helped me load and unload the equipment. Which was not easy since the Dozer refused to start. I pushed the dozer up the ramp of the trailer with the loader. And unloaded the same way.
All I can say, I will use them for all my transport needs. After the service I received I wouldn't use anyone else.

Showroom Transport handled my automobile transport needs in 2007 after I purchased a sports car off the Internet. This was my first time buying a car off the Internet, so I immediately started thinking about all of the things that could go wrong. I was lucky to be dealing with a solid professional dealer who reccomended Showroom Transport. This was a rather rare automobile I had searched for for over 3 months on the Internet, and it was being shipped from Chicago IL to Pensacola FL. I wanted it to get here in perfect condition.

All communications were very professional and unlike Sears Service or Cox Cable service, who make you wait around all day for someone to show up, the Showroom Transport carrier arrived within an hour of the scheduled time. Other than being a little bit dirty from the trip, my new car was in perfect condition.

My car delivery went so smooth. It was such a simple process. I was referred to Showroom Transport from the dealership where I bought my car in Virginia. Kim told me that Showroom Transport has been transporting cars for about 20 years and everything she said that would happen happened. This letter is to tell you what a good experience I had with your company. After waiting for weeks(22 days to be exact) for another transport company to transport my 2000 camaro, I contacted your company. I spoke with Ty and he made me "want to" hire you. I had a good feeling after talking to him and was confident I had made the right decision.

It was on a Friday night and I told Ty that I understood if he could not arrange anything before Monday. He assured me that he would begin working on it that night. Imagine my surprise when the truck driver called me within 24 hours and was making arrangements to do the transport.

The car was delivered to us 3 days later and I am so pleased with your service. Also, the professionalism of the driver John who delivered the car was outstanding. He kept in constant contact with us and we knew the car's location at all times. I am just sick about all the time I wasted waiting for the first company to do the job. If I ever need transport services again, Showroom Transport will be the first telephone call that I make.
